Flere i sekretariatet i Norges Birøkterlag initierer og deltar i norske og internasjonale forskningsprosjekter. Dette arbeidet er viktig for at samfunnet skal øke kunnskapen om honningbier og deres plass i naturen, og for at vi skal kunne ta de riktige valgene for en sunn og produktiv birøkt i årene fremover.
